The Fussy Vegan
When The Fussy Vegan opened up down the road from the F&HE offices, we couldn’t be more thrilled. We’re not all vegans, but having a vegan option a short drive away from the office made us happy! The Fussy Vegan opened its doors in January 2018 and serves delicious on-the-go vegan options to its customers. A real favourite of our team is the toasted tofu mayo and bacon sandwich. Yup, vegan bacon (seitan). Guests can expect a new menu each week, as Werner Prinsloo, the owner likes to keep things fresh and he only uses high-quality, seasonal ingredients. Another real winner is the vegan Philly cheese steak sandwich! Other mouth-watering menu options include mac ‘n cheese and mushroom risotto. Also available at The Fussy Vegan are freshly squeezed juice, kombucha and a variety of vegan pantry staples. If you are ever in the area, The Fussy Vegan is well worth a visit!
