With a menu that is neither conventional nor completely over the top, Black Sheep Restaurant ticks all the boxes. The decor seems to somehow satisfy both an antiquated style and clean, modern finishes, creating a chic dining experience. A starter of lemon and black pepper squid and chorizo is a sure-fire winner (which sold out within the first 30 minutes of being there), while the flat-iron steak (served rare) is a must for meat lovers. Be sure to make your booking a few days in advance as, from 7:30pm onwards, there is a stream of people walking in looking to secure their seats.
