Decadent brownies with coffee Amarula custard

We’ve made brownies even more decadent with the addition of buttery macadamia nuts and a creamy coffee Amarula custard. The perfect way to end off a meal: chocolate, coffee and liqueur all in one mouthful!   Decadent brownies with coffee Amarula custard SERVES 8 | PREP TIME 30 min | TOTAL TIME 1 hour 20 min INGREDIENTS BROWNIES 275 g dark chocolate, finely chopped 150 g butter, chopped 150 g caster sugar 2 eggs, lightly beaten 150 g flour, sifted 75 g self-raising flour, sifted 90 g unsalted macadamias, lightly roasted and roughly chopped  100 g milk chocolate, roughly chopped 100 g dark chocolate, extra, roughly chopped  COFFEE AMARULA CUSTARD 2 cups pouring cream ¼ cup Amarula liquor  1 tbsp instant coffee granules 4 egg yolks 55 g caster sugar METHOD BROWNIES PREHEAT the oven to 170°C. Grease a shallow 20cm square cake tin and line the base with baking paper.  MELT together chocolate and butter in a pot over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
