Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte
Ingredients
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 3 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- Pumpkin Syrup
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 4 tbsp pumpkin puree
- Pumpkin Spice Latte
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 shot of espresso
- whipped cream
- pumpkin spice (garnish)
Instructions
Pumpkin Syrup
1. Combine sugar and water in a pan and bring to a simmer.
2. When sugar is dissolved, add the pumpkin pie spice and the pumpkin puree and mix well. Let simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Remove from the heat and strain to remove any solids.
Pumpkin Spice Latte
1. In a coffee mug, add 3 tablespoons of pumpkin syrup then add hot coffee and stir until incorporated.
2. Froth milk, then gently pour over coffee and syrup mixture.
3. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Enjoy!
