• Date Night at the Museum is a weekly event hosted by the Norval Foundation’s Peko Peko restaurant every Thursday between 12pm and 8pm.

A set menu for two allows you and your dining partner to try some of the best dishes on the menu while taking in the beautiful views of the Norval Foundation’s serene wetland and sculpture garden.

Along with this offer and as part of the R800 price, the museum galleries will stay open until the restaurant closes. This gives you the unique opportunity to walk through the galleries at night with your champagne before or after your meal.

Peko Peko is an Asian-inspired eatery at the Norval Foundation. The restaurant is situated on the first floor of the museum, with magical views of the Norval Foundation’s serene wetland and stunning Sculpture Garden.

The Japanese expression “Peko Peko has been taken from one of the translations of the verb “Hekomu”, which pertains to the sound an empty stomach makes.

Peko Peko’s talented chefs create food by combining their experiences and travels, trying new ideas, and honouring the ingredients of soy, wasabi, and pink ginger.

Peko Peko would love to fill your rumbling stomach with delicious food made with great ingredients and local ingredients.

To access the restaurant, use the lift from the basement parking lot and head to the first floor, where signs will show you the way.
