• A showcase for artisan wines, the tasting will be held 21 October at Turbine Hall.

Publik Wine Fair is a tasting event created to introduce wine drinkers to some of South Africa’s best independent artisan producers. After the inaugural event in Cape Town earlier this year, Publik Wine Fair will be held at Turbine Hall in downtown Johannesburg on 21 October 2018.

Over 100 wines will be poured by the over 25 winemakers who will visit the city for the tasting, which aims to become an annual celebration of these artisan wines made with a strong focus on organic, biodynamic and minimal-intervention methods.

Organised by Publik, the wine merchants that have become renowned for championing smaller producers and lesser-known grape varieties, the event is an opportunity for them to share some of their favourite wines and introduce guests to the community of winemakers responsible.

Visitors will enjoy the chance to taste rare, small-production wines and unusual grape varieties as well as engage with independent winemakers and growers who share a passion for crafting quality wine.

Tickets are limited and available at R200 per person on publik.co.za.
