The much-anticipated return of The Pot Luck Club’s Sunday Brunch kicked off on 1 October. Executive Chef Jason Kosmas is thrilled to unveil a revamped menu that promises a unique dining experience atop The Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock.
This Sunday Brunch offers a departure from the usual à la carte options, presenting a fixed menu of nine or ten courses. The aim is to provide a distinct Pot Luck experience, allowing diners to simply relax and let the culinary team curate their morning feast.
The journey begins with fresh West Coast oysters, dressed in a specially crafted sauce by Chef Kosmas. These are the first of several snack-sized courses designed to tantalise taste buds. From buttery brioche with mushroom duxelle to a Ssam-style dish featuring crisp greens and Asian spice, each bite is a flavourful adventure.
A signature Pot Luck twist on the classic ‘Arnold Bennett’ open omelette, rich with smoked haddock, follows the snacks. The ‘Salad’ course, a palate cleanser driven by seasonal market finds, leads to a heartier main course where duck takes centre stage. Served family-style with an array of sides, this course aims to create a homely, yet special, dining experience.
As the meal progresses, guests are encouraged to relax, chat and serve themselves, fostering a laid-back Sunday lunch ambience. The feast concludes with a pre-dessert assortment from the pastry kitchen, followed by a light, often fruity, dessert to bring a decadent day to a satisfying close.
For those seeking libations, the option of ‘Bottomless Bubbly’ featuring Boschendal’s Brut and Rosé Cap Classiques or the renowned DIY Bloody Mary station is available at an additional cost.

Starting from 11am every Sunday, The Pot Luck Club’s Sunday Brunch is priced at R950 per person for the set menu, excluding drinks and gratuity.
