Sea Point’s beloved Seven Spur in Sea Point, the second-ever branch of the iconic South African steakhouse chain, will be closing its doors in mid-August, at least for now.
Spur announced the news via Facebook recently, explaining that the legendary spot is set to find a new home. While the team searches for the ideal location to bring back Seven Spur’s signature vibes, the restaurant is inviting patrons to share their fondest memories and moments spent at the Sea Point eatery.

‘We want to hear from everyone who has ever dined here, shared a laugh, or made a memory with us,’ the announcement said, encouraging customers to leave their stories and celebrations in the comments.
Though the closure is bittersweet, Spur promises that Seven Spur will return. Fans will be the first to hear about any updates once a new venue is secured.
For now, Sea Point locals and Spur lovers alike can reminisce about the good times at this iconic branch while awaiting its exciting next chapter.
