• Pizza has a special place in our hearts. Especially when it’s homemade, with love!

If you’ve ever found yourself craving a slice of ‘zza but hesitated because you lacked time (and yeast) to make the traditional dough, fear not. We’ve got the ultimate pizza hack for you: a two-ingredient pizza dough that’s easy, quick, delicious, and passes high pizza standards!

With just self-raising flour and yoghurt, you’ll be on your way to pizza paradise in no time. Here’s the recipe:

    Two ingredient pizza dough

The heart of any good pizza lies in its crust, it’s just facts.

The magic behind this two-ingredient dough is the simple combination of self-raising flour and Greek or plain yoghurt. Self-raising flour is basically just a blend of all-purpose flour and baking powder, which helps you cut down on the ingredients and waiting time while still getting a great rise out of your pizza dough!

The yoghurt also creates a soft, pillowy texture to the dough that demands you grab another slice.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup self-raising flour
    • ½ cup yoghurt (Greek or plain)
    • Optional additions:
    • A pinch of salt and black pepper for added flavour
    • A teaspoon of garlic powder for a garlicky twist
    • A tablespoon of olive oil for a slightly richer crust
    • Your favourite pizza seasonings like oregano, basil, or red pepper flakes

    Instructions

    1

PREHEAT: Begin by preheating your oven to a sizzling 220°C. If you have a pizza stone, pop it in the oven to get that perfect crispy crust!

    2

MIX MIX MIX: In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour and yogurt. Get in there with your hands and mix until a soft, pliable dough forms. If it feels a little sticky, sprinkle extra flour and knead until smooth.

    3

SHAPE IT UP: Dust a clean surface with flour and transfer your dough onto it. Roll out the dough into your desired pizza shape—round, square, or even a whimsical heart—whatever tickles your taste buds.

    4

TIME FOR TOPPINGS: Now comes your pizza Picasso moment! Spoon your pizza sauce (homemade or store bought, we don’t judge) onto your base, layer a generous amount of cheese and load up with all your fave toppings—from pepperoni and mushrooms to bell peppers, pineapple – you name it.

    5

GET BAKING: Gently transfer your pizza masterpiece onto a baking sheet or pizza peel if you’re using a stone. Slide it into the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust turns a beautiful golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

    6

DIG IN: Let cool (if you’ve got the patience), slice and enjoy!
