Chase away the chill and comfort a sore throat with this classic Hot toddy recipe. Just mix honey, lemon juice, whiskey, cloves, and steaming black tea – soothing has never tasted this good!
Hot toddy
Ingredients
- 10 ml honey
- 30 ml whisky, brandy, or rum
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 2 bags black tea (of your choice)
- 500 ml water
- 2 cloves
- 2 slices of orange or lemon
Instructions

DIVIDE and place the honey, whisky, brandy, or rum, and lemon juice into two mugs.

BOIL the water and steep the tea bags.

DIVIDE and pour the black tea into the mugs.

GARNISH with a clove and slice of orange or lemon each.
