    Basic corn tortilla dough

    Ingredients

    • 600g cake flour
    • 340g yellow mealie-meal
    • 10ml (2 tsp) salt
    • 500ml (2 cups) warm water
    • 2 egg yolks

    Instructions

    Mix the flour, mealie-meal and salt together in a bowl. Slowly add the warm water and egg yolks and mix until a dough forms. Shape into a ball, cover with cling film and refrigerate until needed.
