• Ditch the processed stuff for your own homemade version! This honeybush iced tea is far healthier than its store-bought alternative, and is also delicious and easy to make. Enjoy on a warm afternoon.

    Honeybush iced tea

    Serves: 2
    Cooking Time: 10 mins

    Ingredients

    • Ice tea

    • 2 sprigs wild honeybush/3 honeybush tea bags
    • 500ml (2 cups) water
    • zest and juice of 1 lemon
    • To serve

    • ice cubes, to serve
    • honeybush flowers, to garnish

    Instructions

    Place the honeybush and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and leave to steep, 10 minutes. Strain and refrigerate until cold.

    Stir in the lemon zest and juice and serve over ice. Garnish with honeybush flowers.
