At the newly refreshed Geuwels restaurant, Christmas lunch honours the warmth of family gatherings and the flavours that define Cape festive traditions. Head of gastronomy Michelle Theron draws on childhood memories and the rhythms of the farm to craft a three-course, family-style feast filled with heartfelt simplicity.
Expect pasture-raised lamb lacquered with fynbos honey, garden vegetables still fragrant with morning dew and herbs picked at first light. Platters are placed at the centre of the table, inviting hands to reach and stories to rise. A Christmas that feels both comfortingly familiar and beautifully new.

In Clara’s Barn, one of the Cape’s oldest surviving barns, Christmas takes on an elegant, contemplative character. Beneath centuries-old timber beams, Michelle Theron presents a refined six-course menu inspired by the Advent themes of hope, peace, joy and love.
Each course presents a moment to savour, a quiet reflection of what this season means and a celebration of flavours that linger long after the final toast. Vergenoegd Löw’s acclaimed wines will be available to pair with each course, at an additional cost.
