• Putting the freeze on meals packed with goodness at Hyde Park Corner

Hyde Park Corner’s convenient location is the perfect match for a store that focuses on stylishly elegant home-made meals using farm-fresh ingredients. Director of Goodness Gracious, Waheed Arai is quick to give credit to the hard-working team which is behind the brand who are relentlessly focused on striving to be the best in their sector and bringing consistent life to Goodness Gracious: “I know and believe that every meal we prepare for our customers is made with love and passion, dedicated to consistent and enduring quality and taste!” This is the story of Goodness Gracious…

    Where it all began

Goodness Gracious had humble beginnings 12 years ago in the Winelands of the Western Cape when Lester Schalit, a Prue Leith trained chef, poured his passion for good food into creating homemade food for retail. Waheed Arai’s passion for the food industry runs equally deep with a career spanning 15 years and when a decision was taken to expand the store by growing their customer experience, he was all in.

“We have an undying passion for serving the best food that consistently brings our customers back to experience more. We want to be known as the best at what we do and how we engage with our customers.”

    Spreading the love

Just over six months ago, Goodness Gracious opened its first retail store at Hyde Park Corner. Their delicious and nutritious meals have been well-received by Hyde Park Corner shoppers. This is evident not only in the number of customers who have become dedicated GG fans but also in the increasing number of new customers enquiring about their food and its nutritional value. The feedback to the store truly reflects the Goodness Gracious brand and what it stands for – bright, warm, homely and great tasting meals… not forgetting the personal touch in welcoming every single customer who walks through the Goodness Gracious doors.
