• Haute Cabrière, situated in the picturesque Franschhoek valley, focusses exclusively on the creation of wines from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varietals. The winery was also the first in South Africa to create a still wine from the blend traditionally reserved for the production of sparkling wines, known as the Haute Cabrière Chardonnay Pinot Noir.

Today, Haute Cabrière is known for this unusual wine which has become a firm South African favourite since it has first been released in 1994.

The cellar is also a must-visit when travelling to Franschhoek. Wine tasting experiences are offered on the terrace with panoramic views over the valley, or inside the majestic underground cellar. The Restaurant offers classic French cuisine with bold South African flavours and a highlight being the 6-course food and wine pairing.

Ten readers can win 12 bottles of the winery’s iconic Chardonnay Pinot Noir, to the value of R1 080 each. To enter, simply complete the entry form below. Terms and conditions apply. Competition ends 22 September 2018.
