The elegant Palazzo Montecasino hotel has introduced a fresh new world-class and delectable High Tea, created by recently appointed Head Pastry Chef Marco Gaspar, and perfect for tranquil afternoons of blissful indulgence, away from the pressures of life.
Chef Marco’s High Tea menu includes a delicious selection of cakes, sandwiches, quiches, scones, and freshly infused teas.
The sweet display includes lime cheesecake mousse with raspberry jam, orange soft cake, dark chocolate berry tart, mango coconut custard choux puff, macaroons, lemon meringue tart, dark chocolate slices. Savoury sandwiches include chicken pastrami, pesto and smoked mozzarella on focaccia, smoked salmon, cream cheese and cucumber en croute, and grilled halloumi and roasted Mediterranean vegetables on rye. Other savoury treats include smoked salmon and ricotta cheese quiche, spinach and ricotta quiche, duck and cherry pie, and Moroccan vegetable pie. Always a favourite are scones served with Chantilly cream, strawberry jam and cheese. To round off this indulgent experience, flavourful teas and freshly brewed coffee are served.
