No Mexican feast would be complete without a jug or two of margaritas. The sweet, slightly bitter tang of the grapefruit works well and is a beautiful splash of colour on the table
- 1L (4 cups) grapefruit juice
- 3 shots of tequila
- a handful of ice
- a squeeze of fresh lime juice
Combine the grapefruit juice, tequila, ice and fresh lime. Mix well and set aside.
Run the squeezed lime wedge around the rim of each glass and dip into salt.
Fill each glass with margarita.
I love adding a few fresh mint sprigs to the carafe as well as some sliced lime wedges to make it look pretty.
