• Ruby grapefruit

    Serves: 1


    • 4 grapefruit halves, skinned, peeled and chopped
    • 4 mint leaves
    • 10ml pomegranate syrup
    • 15ml honey syrup or runny honey
    • 5ml freshly squeezed lime juice
    • 50ml vodka
    • 15ml grapefruit juice
    • 3 ice cubes
    • 1 strip fresh grapefruit zest, to garnish



    In a cocktail shaker or glass jar with a secure lid, combine the grapefruit, mint, pomegranate syrup, honey syrup or honey and lime juice. Muddle together using a wooden muddle or the back of a wooden spoon. Add the vodka, grapefruit juice and ice, and shake to combine. Strain through a fine meshed sieve into a martini glass. Garnish with a strip of grapefruit zest and serve.
