Salmon steaks with a sesame and ginger dressing pairs well with Haute Cabriere Pinot Noir.
Salmon steaks with a sesame and ginger dressing
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 x 200g salmon steaks
- 50ml sesame oil
- 30ml (2 tbsp) fresh ginger, crushed
- 15ml (1 tbsp) soy sauce
- juice and zest of 1 lemon
Season the salmon well and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Heat a frying pan to hot and sauté the salmon for a few seconds to seal.
Mix all of the dressing ingredients well together and serve the salmon hot, topped with the dressing.
