• As Easter Sunday approaches, Cape Town hotels are preparing to serve a feast fit for the occasion to both visitors and locals.

From traditional hot cross buns to sumptuous roast meats and decadent chocolate treats, here are some hotels in Cape Town that serve Easter Sunday feasts, so you can make the most of this special time of year.

As Easter Sunday approaches, many families and friends are looking for unique ways to commemorate the occasion. And what better way to do so than with a lavish feast at a luxurious Cape Town hotel?

There’s bound to be a hotel in Cape Town that meets your needs, whether you’re looking for a relaxed family brunch or a luxurious gourmet dinner.

    The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel & Spa

With Easter just around the corner, it’s time to gather family and friends and reserve a table for an Easter Sunday lunch celebration at The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel & Spa.

Tronette Dippenaar and her team are preparing a 5-star epicurean experience that will be served over three decadent courses in the elegant Conservatory Restaurant overlooking the magnificent garden surroundings.

Families are encouraged to arrive at 12pm to participate in the Easter egg forest hunt before sitting down for a leisurely lunch.

Starters include a grilled fan fillet of Klein Karoo ostrich or a red pepper gravlax. The main course is either South Atlantic cob with butternut fondant, Cape Malay curry velouté and a local kelp salad; or Chalmar beef sirloin with confit Hasselback, rapini, roasted tomato salsa and biltong butter.

To end the lunch on a sweet and memorable note, the final difficult decision is between rooibos mousse with a vanilla sponge and orange, almond and coffee opera, which will have all sweet tooths smiling from ear to ear!
