Menlyn Park Shopping Centre celebrates its 40th Birthday

From 20^th September to 30^th October Menlyn Park Shopping Centre will be transforming into a Birthday extravaganza and wants to share its Birthday gifts with shoppers by giving away R1 million worth of Birthday prizes.

To celebrate the Centre’s Birthday, Menlyn Park and its tenants are pulling out all the stops to ensure shoppers can enjoy the best that’s on offer at Menlyn Park. The 40-year-old Centre offers Africa’s most unique shopping experience with the greatest variety of stores, products and experiences for all ages, trends and passions.

Located on the lower first level floor of Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, the Menlyn Checkers Hyper is also turning 40 this year. The store, which boasts a range of food and home appliances, first opened at Menlyn Park as Hyperama and has been with the Centre since it opened its doors 40 years ago.

Situated in the New “Village” of Menlyn Park Shopping Centre surrounded by a, tree ferns, a magical and restful environment, Parrots restaurant is the perfect setting to have lunch, after a hard days shopping. Established in 1983, the restaurant has been serving customers in the center for over 36 years and has become known as the ideal place to meet and share a meal.

Popular seafood restaurant Ocean Basket opened its first-ever eatery at Menlyn Park decades ago and continues to successfully dish up fresh seafood delights for thousands of guests every month.
