• PEPPADEW® is not just famous for its piquanté pepper.     We recently had the opportunity to paint the town red with PEPPADEW® at NCW restaurant in Melville. Each course included something from the PEPPADEW® range.

    The evening started off with fantastic canapes that included sardines with noodles and PEPPADEW® Hot Piquante Pepper chilli mayo, nachos with cheese and beer dip and PEPPADEW® Hot Jalapeno dip, and mouth-watering macarons with a guacamole and white chocolate ganache and PEPPADEW® Milk Piquante Peppers.

    The bread course was just as delicious – PEPPADEW® Atchar cornbread.

    For starters, we enjoyed a grilled sweetcorn soup with PEPPADEW® Brown Pickled Onion and PEPPADEW® Piquante Pepper ice cream. This was followed with squid ink gnocchi with clams, rouille with PEPPADEW® Hot Piquante Peppers, saffron veloute, brussels sprouts and asparagus.

    Mains was a feast for the senses – a mouth-watering lamb tagine served with PEPPADEW® Hot Mango Atchar, PEPPADEW® Milk Piquante Peppers and cous cous.

    Dessert (our favourite course) was a fantastic combination of sponge cake, with PEPPADEW® Mild Piquante Pepper infused roast pears, PEPPADEW® Mild Piquante Pepper and pear puree and salted caramel ice cream.

    Bellies filled with all things delicious, we were treated to one final course, the cheese! Matured asiago served with fresh asiago, PEPPADEW® Hot Piquante Pear macerated peached and toasted almonds.

    Every course was paired with a wonderful wine, rounding off the menu perfectly.
