    Since Martin opened his patisserie to the public on the weekends Café Patisse’s cakes and traditional French patisserie are becoming legendary in Johannesburg, and this hidden gem is not going to stay under the radar for too much longer. Fans come from far and wide to enjoy the designer éclairs, traditional opera and frangipane tarts, to name just a few of the delicious and mouth watering desserts. We have to make mention of the fact that all the chocolate work is done using the best chocolate in the world, Valrhona, you have to make the effort to try the cremeux, which is a dense, soft, classic “pudding” that has gained popularity with pastry chefs at an amazing pace.
