Potato bake is seriously creamy, dreamy stuff and one of those dishes where seconds (and thirds) are inevitable. Serve it with a gorgeous green salad to balance its richness.
- 10 potatoes, peeled
- salt and freshly ground black
- pepper, to taste
- 1L (4 cups) fresh cream
- 3 bay leaves
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Thinly slice the potatoes and layer them in a dish. Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper.
Pour the cream over the potatoes, top with the bay leaves and bake until the potatoes are cooked through, about 1 hour.
