Summer has arrived, and so has the nation’s love affair for frozen indulgence. To celebrate the sunny season, Cape Town’s favourite ice cream parlour Unframed Ice Cream will release 24 new flavours from November 2018 through to February 2019, prompting dessert lovers across the Western Cape to grab for their nearest spoon.
“Unframed Ice Cream is known for its artisanal, locally produced approach to perfectly textured ice cream and is particularly famous for its vegan offerings that have drawn international recognition. So, it may come as no surprise that out of 24 new releases this season, there are 20 vegan flavours. The 20 vegan flavours include nut-based vegan ice creams and new seasonal fruit-based sorbets. For this season, we focused on summery fruits for our new sorbets and worked very hard to create unbelievable vegan versions of some of our most popular dairy flavours to keep all of our loyal plant-based ice cream lovers happy.”
– Yann Rey, owner of Unframed
