• The iconic V&A Waterfront has welcomed another extraordinary dining destination, Marble Cape Town, as it celebrates its culinary journey, which began in 2016.

Marble Cape Town seamlessly blends tradition, innovation, and the vibrant energy of the Mother City with its fire-driven offerings, including Cape Town’s renowned seafood. Now set to include another South African tradition: Seven Colours Sunday.

Launching on Sunday, 08 June 2025 at the restaurant’s luxurious harbour-front location, in collaboration with Kfm 94.5. Seven Colours Sunday, otherwise known as “7 Colours”, is a vibrant celebration of food, music, and family, everything that makes for a quintessential South African Sunday lunch.

Expect a regularly changing menu that features a main with colourful sides, with a fiery Marble touch and colour theme that encourages guests to wear something to match. Enjoy a welcome drink with Marble’s famous focaccia bread served with hummus, pumpkin, and butter.

Dive into a selection of starters for the table that include flatbread topped with shrimp and cucumber salad, chives, and avocado. Or, a vegetarian option of panko-fried avocado, tomato pickle, and marinated eggplant.

The main course is served on shared platters, featuring a succulent USDA Washington brisket with pickles and Yorkshire pudding. Vegetarians can enjoy spinach and marinated feta phyllo twists, drizzled with honey-olive oil dressing and lemon. Expect the table to be filled with an array of colourful sides including roasted potatoes with rosemary dusting, cauliflower with Amboselli cheese sroutons, broccolini with chilli crunch, and an assortment of roasted vegetables.

To finish, choose between an indulgent and curated cheese selection (by Karen Dudley), or a medley of tempting desserts. Don’t fret, there’s even ice cream for the kids.

Set to take place twice a month from June until the end of August, serving a Winter menu, and from September, serving a Spring menu. The sharing-style meal is ideal for families and friends of all ages, backed with music courtesy of Kfm 94.5, the Cape’s biggest station.

“Music and food are two of the greatest pleasures in life, and that makes this collaboration a natural fit,” adds Hennie Myburgh, Station Manager: Kfm 94.5 & 947. “As the biggest station in the Western Cape, we are proud to partner with Marble, as we celebrate family, friendship, and everything that makes the Western Cape magical this winter!”
