The winners of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards have been announced!

So many talented chefs and foodies will be representing South Africa at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in Sweden next year. We look forward to seeing South African food dominate!

Simply Seven Colours by Zola Nene (PRH)

Zola Nene is no stranger to the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. Simply Seven Colours is her third cookbook to win this internationally recognised award. (Zola won a second award in the Drink Culture Television category too!)

Hosting with Lazy Makoti by Mogau Seshoene (Jonathan Ball)

Mogau Seshoene is looking forward to attending  the “Olympics of cookbooks” in 2023. This isn’t her first win – her first cookbook, The Lazy Makoti’s Guide to the Kitchen, also won its own Gourmand Award.
