    From the managing editor

    If you were to ask me five years ago where I thought I’d be right now, the words ‘being managing editor of an incredible magazine’ would not have come out of my mouth at all. Yet here I am … writing the ed’s letter for Food&Home.

    I feel honoured to be able to take the reins from the magazine’s previous editor, the lovely Fatima Saib. Together with the amazing Food&Home team I wish to continue providing you with delicious and exquisite recipes and open your eyes to our country’s fantastic eateries and small businesses, as well as uber-talented foodies and creatives. And more than that, I want to inspire those who don’t consider themselves connoisseurs in the kitchen to have confidence and grow their abilities with our easy dishes.

    Similar to how I feel while writing this, this issue is all about summer and celebrations – the festive season, a well-deserved break, the new year and Valentine’s day are creeping up on us. What I love most about these events is that it usually goes hand-in-hand with spending time with loved ones – and good food, of course! That’s why we made a point of featuring hearty foods that are perfect for the season and the feasts that it holds in store, from fresh and fruity foods to delectable desserts, and more.

    We hope you love these recipes just as much as we do. Chat again in our Autumn Issue (on shelves from 10 March).
