White Lady New Year’s Eve Cocktail

Get 2017 off on the right foot with this festive and oh-so sparkly White Lady New Year’s Eve Cocktail. It’s gluten-, wheat- and dairy free! 

White Lady New Year’s Eve Cocktail

Serves: 4
Cooking Time: 10 mins


  • 60ml (4 tbsp) sugar
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) water
  • 180ml dry gin
  • 120ml Cointreau
  • 90ml (6 tbsp) fresh lemon juice
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme + extra,to garnish
  • 2 large egg whites
  • ice cubes
  • edible glitter (optional)



Start by making a simple double syrup: combine the sugar with the water in a saucepan over low heat, until dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.


In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, 20ml (4 tsp) of the sugar syrup, thyme sprigs and egg whites. Shake without ice until the egg white is frothy.


Add 4 ice cubes and shake again until chilled. Strain into 4 chilled cocktail glasses. Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs dusted in edible glitter, if desired.
