As day gives way to evening in the Paarl winelands, Nederburg invites guests to experience the bountiful excitement of the season with Harvest at Dusk, a celebration of the 2026 vintage taking place on Saturday, 28 February at the historic wine farm.
The evening opens with a Winelands welcome. Guests are welcomed with canapés and a taste of freshly fermenting grape must, offering an immediate and evocative connection to the season, along with the opportunity to engage with the winemakers shaping Nederburg’s wines.

From here, the experience moves into the vineyards. A tractor journey carries guests into the vines, where they are invited to hand-pick grapes as the last light of summer settles across the landscape. This rare, tactile moment offers an authentic insight into the vintage’s origins and the quiet precision behind each bottle.
Returning to the sprawling lawns of the Manor House, heritage and tradition come into focus. Guests may take part in grape stomping, a refined yet playful homage to the earliest expressions of winemaking.

As dusk deepens, a fire-inspired, three-course dinner is served, celebrating elemental cooking and seasonal flavour. The menu features Karoo lamb staanrib with garlic and rosemary, BBQ glazed pork belly lollipops with burnt apple purée, coal-roasted butternut with pumpkin seeds and curry purée, and grilled tomato and fior di latte caprese with basil pesto and olive oil. Each course is paired with one of Nederburg’s award-winning wines.
The evening concludes beneath the stars, where music and conversation linger, and guests are invited to enjoy the rare luxury of time, space and atmosphere among the vineyards.
Harvest at Dusk is a refined and deeply immersive expression of Nederburg, honouring the land, the season and the craftsmanship at the heart of every vintage.
