• We’re not ready to say goodbye to summer, so let’s live in denial and sip on some cocktails or mocktails while watching the sun go down. The setting? Sevruga at the picturesque V&A Waterfront.

Located on Quay 5 at the V&A Waterfront, Sevruga is known for its eclectic menu made up of locally sourced, fresh seafood, sushi and dim sum. However, don’t overlook its comprehensive cocktail menu, which is split into three ranges: Designer Cocktails, Classic Cocktails and Alcohol Free Cocktails.

Its spot on the wharf overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and the harbour  – not a bad view to take in with a refreshing beverage in hand.

Behind the bar, talented mixologists adept at whipping up creative cocktails, are under the direction of Herve Bola – a talented barman with over 15 years of experience.

Below are three cocktails to try at Sevruga

    1. Absolut Elyx Flair

Vodka lovers will enjoy the Absolut Elyx Flair. The fruity cocktail is in between sweet and savoury but above all, it will leave you refreshed. Try it with a twist – a shot of Champagne added as the final ingredient to give the cocktail an extra kick.

    2. Blood Orange Mojito

Fans of the good old classic mojito might want to try this version. The drink is powered by a strong rum flavour with a sweetness that balances out the bitterness of the blood orange.

    3. Olmeca Altos Paloma

Agave fans will enjoy the tequila in the Olmeca Altos Paloma. Its perfect combination with lime juice will quench your thirst instantly.

Side note: Sevruga offers half price on all its Classic Cocktails, daily, from 12pm to 5pm.
