    INGREDIENTS

    • 2 sheets puff pastry
    • ¾ cup Nutella + extra for dipping
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten

    METHOD

    PREHEAT oven to 200°C.

LINE a baking tray with baking paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray.

UNFOLD one sheet of the puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface. Lightly roll the pastry with a rolling pin to flatten any folds in the dough.

SPREAD Nutella onto the flattened puff pastry dough.

FLATTEN the second sheet of puff pastry dough and place on top of the first sheet.

CUT the dough into approximately 3cm strips and curl each strip into a pastry twist and place on the baking tray.

IN a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it onto the pastry twists.

BAKE until golden brown and flakey, between 20-30 minutes.

REMOVE the pastry twists from the oven and allow to cool.

SERVE with extra Nutella as a dipping sauce.
