Steak dinner is always a hit, especially when it has the flavours of pan-fried sirloin with miso butter.
Pan-fried sirloin with miso butter
Prepare the miso butter by combining 160g softened butter and 40g red miso paste. Heat a griddle pan over high heat and, while the pan warms up, rub 4 sirloin steaks with olive oil, chopped fresh rosemary and season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Cook the steaks in batches until done to your liking, about 2 – 3 minutes on each side for medium. Allow the steaks to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with dollops of miso butter, chopped spring onions, fresh rosemary sprigs and a lime half for squeezing.
