Super Mega Cakes premieres on Sunday, 6 July at 16:05 CAT on Food Network Africa, and it’s set to be a wild ride of creativity, sugar, and skill. Over six episodes, Duff and his Charm City Cakes team take on six of the best cake artists in the U.S.—all at once. That’s right. Six epic, themed cake builds running side by side, with Duff juggling every one of them.
Expect show-stopping creations based on themes like Superman, classic cartoons, architectural wonders, and even alien invasions. These aren’t your average birthday cakes—think floating cakes, cakes with built-in cameras, and edible sculptures with holograms.
Each episode focuses on a head-to-head showdown, with guest judges like Beck Bennett, Drew Scott, and Jacques Torres joining cake experts Sherry Yard and Amaury Guichon to pick the best build of the week. In the end, a 50-person audience will get to see, taste, and vote for the grand champion.
