• Microwave Chocolate Pots

    There’s something so comforting about chocolate puddings served with a big dollop of ice cream; it’s such an indulgent pudding and really easy to make.

    PREP TIME 5 minutes | COOKING TIME 1 minute | SERVES 2

    INGREDIENTS

    • 4 tbsp plain flour
    • 4 tbsp caster sugar
    • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, plus ½ tsp to dust
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tbsp (30ml) vegetable oil
    • 3 tbsp (30ml) milk
    • 4 tsp Nutella

    To Serve

    • Berries & icing sugar

    METHOD

    MIX the flour, sugar, cocoa and salt together in a medium bowl. Then add the egg, oil and milk and mix until well combined.

    PLACE a large spoonful in each ramekin then place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each. Spoon over the remainder of the cake mixture and microwave for 45 secs – 1 minute. It’s ready when it stops rising. Dust with the remaining cocoa powder and top with berries and icing sugar to serve.

    FOOD TEAM TIP: Swap the nutella for peanut butter, jam or marmalade.
