• RIO LARGO Olive oil boasts fragrant fruity flavours

The name RIO LARGO means “wide river”; an apt name for an estate bordering the Breede River in the Western Cape of South Africa. This is desert country with alluvial soils, hot days, cool nights and water on demand to cultivate quality fruit for premium extra virgin olive oil.

RIO LARGO olive oil is a balance of flavours blended from choice Italian-style cultivars, Frantoio, Coratina, Leccino and FS 17, which together make an award winning combination. Beautifully fresh and fragrant with a delicious fruity, slightly bitter and pungent flavour.

The SA Olive Association sticker denotes purity and quality. Consumers are assured that the oil is independently tested and complies with international standards for extra virgin olive oil. RIO LARGO has consistently won top awards since 2010.

Proudly local but recognised internationally with awards from  Italy, Dubai, Japan, Amsterdam and New York.

Authentic olive juice, from our family olive grove; handpicked during April to July, produced by Nick Wilkinson within hours of picking and stored under optimal conditions; bottled on order.
